The third day was headlined the Paddy Power Stayers’ Hurdle.
On the third day of the 2025 Cheltenham Festival (Thursday, March 13), the weather was mostly dry with some sunshine, but it stayed quite cold. This was a big change from Wednesday, when snow covered the racecourse after unusually warm weather earlier in the week.
By thursday, the track was drying out, making for good racing conditions. The better weather helped both the horses and the crowd enjoy the day.
