The Armed Forces of Malta (AFM) recently conducted a medical evacuation operation off St Paul’s Islands, rescuing an injured individual. Although details are scarce, a similar incident occurred last year when the AFM airlifted a crew member from a livestock vessel off Malta’s coast, highlighting the AFM’s prompt response to maritime emergencies.
