The e-bike grant in Malta has increased to €650 as part of Transport Malta’s renewed electric vehicle schemes. The new scheme aims to promote the use of sustainable and accessible vehicles, with grants varying by vehicle type. For pedelecs, the grant is €500, while cargo pedelecs, mopeds, and motorcycles are eligible for €2,000 grants, capped at 80% of the retail price. The scheme is open to residents, voluntary organisations, and undertakings established in Malta.
