Iranian authorities have arrested members of the Bahai religious minority, accusing them of involvement in recent anti-government protests. The intelligence ministry claims a 32-member network was identified, with 12 main agents arrested and 13 others summoned. The Bahais, Iran’s largest non-Muslim religious minority, face regular persecution, with accusations of being spies linked to Israel. This crackdown is part of a broader pattern of repression, with Human Rights Watch stating that Iran’s systematic persecution of Bahais amounts to a crime against humanity.
