The mastermind behind one of the most impressive sports ecosystems of the decade is Populous, the renowned architecture firm that’s transforming Manchester’s Etihad Stadium into a world-class entertainment and leisure destination. This ambitious project, led by Manchester City, aims to create a state-of-the-art fan experience, complete with a covered City Square, a new club shop, museum, workspace, and a 400-bed hotel.
Populous has already made a mark on the sports world with designs like the Manchester Velodrome and the Co-op Live Arena.
