The Kremlin has denied that three-way talks between Ukraine, Russia, and the United States are being planned, despite Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy saying Washington had proposed such a format. This would have marked Moscow and Kyiv’s first face-to-face negotiations in half a year. Kremlin foreign policy adviser Yuri Ushakov stated, “At present, no one has seriously discussed this initiative, and to my knowledge, it is not in preparation”. Russian envoy Kirill Dmitriev met with US officials in Miami, mediated by US special envoy Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner, to discuss a potential peace plan.
