The db Group and Hard Rock International are making a comeback with their hotel project overlooking Marsamxett Harbour in Malta. This ambitious development, valued at €300 million, had previously faced challenges, but the companies are now pushing forward with the project. The Hard Rock Hotel Malta will feature 394 rooms, including 25 suites with private pools, and offer stunning views of the Mediterranean Sea.
The development will also include luxury residential towers, known as Ora Residences, with high-end apartments and amenities like private pools and temperature-controlled wine cellars. Additionally, a 20,000-square-meter shopping mall, St. George’s Mall, will be part of the project, offering a range of retail and entertainment options.
The project is expected to create several hundred jobs and contribute significantly to Malta’s tourism industry. Prime Minister Robert Abela emphasized the importance of attracting high-yield travelers and enriching the country’s tourism sector. The development is set to be completed by early 2026 and will become a landmark destination in Malta.
