Malta is set to become the global capital of medical technology this November as MedTech World Europe 2026 returns to the historic Mediterranean Conference Centre in Valletta from 11 to 13 November, bringing together over 2,000 global MedTech leaders, founders, investors, healthcare executives and innovators from more than 50 countries for three days of business, investment and conversations that turn into term sheets. The flagship summit, which forms part of Prime Minister Robert Abela’s Malta Vision 2050 to establish the islands as a leading European hub for MedTech, life sciences and digital health, will feature two main stages hosted in La Valette Hall and Sacra Infermeria Hall, more than 30 headline speakers and C-level keynotes covering the full journey of medical devices and digital health products from innovation and funding to EU MDR and IVDR compliance, reimbursement, market access and commercial scale-up, with a strong focus on artificial intelligence, GLP-1s, longevity, smart capital and how capital is repricing innovation.
Beyond the keynotes, the programme is built for deals, with exclusive CEO-only and investor-only forums reserved for active investors wearing solely an investor hat, a vibrant exhibition floor showcasing next-generation devices, curated company showcases, the live MedTech World Startup Pitch Competition on Day 2 spotlighting founders who could define the next decade, and the prestigious black-tie MedTech World Awards Gala honouring the boldest innovators, all supported by the Ministry for Health, Malta Enterprise, the Malta Medicines Authority and global industry giants including Medtronic, Johnson and Johnson, Boston Scientific, Philips, KARL STORZ and BlackRock. Attendees are already being encouraged to download the Infera-powered partnering app to begin browsing profiles and booking one-to-one meetings in advance, while cultural and experiential activities, including a VIP networking reception at the heritage venue IC-CIVIL with DJ Tiffany and the official closing party at V Lounge in Valletta, ensure that hallway conversations continue long after the panels end, positioning MedTech Malta 2026 not just as a conference but as the cornerstone event where hospital leaders, regulators, startups and strategic buyers come together to shape the future of healthcare and secure partnerships ahead of 2027.
