A recent business breakfast event organized by the Occupational Health and Safety Authority (OHSA) and Times of Malta highlighted the importance of workplace well-being. The event, themed “Beyond Compliance Towards Elevating Workplace Well-Being in Malta”, brought together industry leaders and experts to discuss ways to promote a culture of prevention, responsibility, and high standards of occupational health and safety. Minister for Justice and Reform Jonathan Attard emphasized the government’s commitment to strengthening this culture, while OHSA CEO Dr. Josianne Cutajar stressed that health and safety are a national priority, not just an administrative burden. The discussion focused on implementing the principle of “Beyond Compliance” through responsible leadership, collaboration, and a stronger prevention culture in workplaces.
