A 21-year-old Libyan man residing in Swieqi was seriously injured in a traffic accident that occurred late at night, around 10:15 pm, in Triq Sant’ Andrija, Swieqi. The collision involved a Smart ForFour driven by a 20-year-old woman from Wied il-Għajn and a Honda WW125A motorcycle driven by the Libyan man. Emergency services were quickly called to the scene, and the motorcyclist was taken to Mater Dei Hospital by ambulance, where he was certified as suffering from serious injuries. Police investigations into the incident are ongoing, aiming to determine the exact circumstances surrounding the accident.
