The Labour Party is maintaining a narrow lead over the Nationalist Party, with a three-point advantage translating to 9,262 votes, according to a recent MaltaToday survey. The survey places Labour’s support at 48.9%, while the Nationalist Party stands at 45.7%. Prime Minister Robert Abela’s trust rating has dropped by 3.9 percentage points to 41.3%, while Nationalist leader Alex Borg’s rating has increased slightly by 0.6 points to 35.9%.
The survey suggests that the gap between the two main parties has remained broadly stable since October, with the PN retaining a larger share of its 2022 voters than Labour. The reduced advantage is largely attributed to a growing number of 2022 Labour voters who now say they would not vote.
