Ian Borg, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Foreign Affairs and Tourism of Malta, chaired the 72nd meeting of the Commonwealth Ministerial Action Group (CMAG) on March 7, 2026. This was the fifth meeting he chaired since his election to this role in October 2024. The meeting, held in London, brought together ministers and representatives from eight countries, including Antigua and Barbuda, Botswana, Canada, Grenada, Malaysia, Mauritius, Samoa, and Zambia, ahead of the 26th Commonwealth Foreign Affairs Ministers Meeting and Commonwealth Day celebrations.
