Russian attacks have killed six people and injured dozens across Ukraine, with strikes targeting energy infrastructure, residential buildings, schools, and businesses in multiple regions, including Kyiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Dnipro, and Mykolaiv. The attacks, which included around 430 drones and 68 missiles, have caused power outages in six regions and damaged critical infrastructure. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has condemned the attacks, stating that Russia will try to exploit the war in the Middle East to cause greater destruction in Europe.
The EU has imposed new sanctions on Russia in response to the strikes, targeting over 2,600 individuals and entities. The international community continues to monitor the situation, with the UN expressing concern over the attacks on civilians and infrastructure.
