‘Museums by Candlelight’ Returns to Vittoriosa

The ‘Museums by Candlelight’ event is back in Vittoriosa, Malta, on April 18, 2026, transforming the historic city into a mesmerizing spectacle with 15,000 candles illuminating Fort St Angelo, the Inquisitor’s Palace, and St Lawrence Church and Museum. Visitors can explore these iconic sites from 7:00 pm to midnight, enjoying live music, artisan stalls, and historical re-enactments. The event, a collaboration between Heritage Malta and the Birgu Local Council, offers a unique opportunity to experience Malta’s rich history and culture in an enchanting atmosphere. Tickets are available for €3, with Heritage Malta members entering for free.
