San Ġiljan has secured a spot in the next round of the European Aquatics Challenger Cup, defeating Hapoel Palram Zvulun 26-10 in their group match. This win puts them in a strong position, but they still face a challenge to progress further. Their next match is against Israeli outfit Hapoel Palram Zvulum, and they’ll need a win to stay alive in the competition.
Meanwhile, Sliema ASC, another Maltese team, has also advanced to the next round after beating San Ġiljan 19-13. Sliema’s Sam Engerer was the standout performer, scoring six goals to help his team secure a top-two finish in Group A.
