The National Basketball Association (NBA) has announced that the Memphis Grizzlies and Orlando Magic will play regular-season games in Berlin and London in January 2026. The games are scheduled to take place on January 15 at Uber Arena in Berlin and January 18 at The O2 in London. This marks the NBA’s first regular-season game in Germany and the league’s 10th regular-season game in London.

The matchup between the Grizzlies and Magic will feature talented players like Ja Morant and Jaren Jackson Jr. from the Grizzlies, and Paolo Banchero, Franz and Moritz Wagner from the Magic. The Wagner brothers, who grew up in Berlin, are particularly excited to play in their hometown and inspire young fans. The games will be broadcast live across Europe and worldwide, reaching over 200 countries.

As part of the NBA’s growing European presence, the league has also announced plans to host regular-season games in Manchester and Paris in 2027, and Berlin and Paris again in 2028. The NBA will conduct community outreach programs, youth basketball clinics, and coach and referee development initiatives in Berlin and London, promoting the sport and engaging with local fans.

The announcement reflects the NBA’s commitment to expanding its global reach and building a stronger presence in Europe. With the growing popularity of basketball worldwide, the NBA is poised to continue its successful international games, showcasing top talent and promoting the sport.
