US Vice President JD Vance has arrived in Azerbaijan, following his visit to Armenia, as part of efforts to solidify a US-brokered peace deal between the two countries. The visit aims to advance the Trump Route for International Peace and Prosperity (TRIPP), a proposed transport corridor that would link Azerbaijan with its Nakhchivan exclave and boost regional trade. Vance has met with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev to discuss peace, trade, and energy cooperation, and the two leaders have signed a strategic partnership agreement.
