The US has not yet begun to “destroy what’s left” in Iran, according to President Donald Trump, who warned of potential strikes on Iran’s bridges and electric power plants. Trump’s remarks come amid escalating tensions between the US and Iran, with the US claiming to have achieved significant military objectives in the region, including weakening Iran’s missile and drone capabilities. However, Iran maintains that it still retains significant military capabilities, including thousands of one-way attack drones and coastal defense cruise missiles.

The conflict has resulted in significant disruptions to global energy supplies, with the Strait of Hormuz, a vital shipping route, effectively closed by Iran. The US has launched over 12,300 strikes on Iran since the conflict began, targeting military infrastructure, command centers, and naval vessels.

Trump has stated that the US could end its involvement in the war within two to three weeks, but only if Iran agrees to certain demands, including reopening the Strait of Hormuz. Iran, however, has rejected US demands, insisting that it will not negotiate under pressure.
