Trump to Keep Starlink at White House Despite Fallout with Musk

U.S. President Donald Trump has confirmed he will continue using Starlink, Elon Musk’s satellite internet service, at the White House, notwithstanding a public falling out with the billionaire entrepreneur. Speaking on June 9, Trump said Starlink is a good service and pointed that he might move his Tesla car, which he purchased from Musk in March, but had no such plans for Starlink.

The comments come following a very public fight between the two, fueled by Musk’s severe condemnation of Trump’s tax and expenditure measure, which he dubbed “disgusting abomination.” Efforts by Republican legislators to pass the measure in Congress have been thwarted by the conflict.

Though he wouldn’t object if the Tesla and SpaceX CEO contacted, Trump said he had no intentions of reconciling with Musk. Musk appeared to relax his position, deleting previous critical social media postings and reacting to a video of Trump’s comments with a heart emoji.

Sources near Musk say he might be willing to heal relations with the President notwithstanding the conflict.
