Men are opting for plastic surgery in increasing numbers, with a 95% rise in surgical procedures worldwide between 2018 and 2024. This trend is particularly pronounced among younger men and those in the Middle East and Latin America. The International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery reports that non-surgical treatments like injections, laser therapy, and peels have seen an even sharper increase of 116%. Despite this growth, men still account for only 16% of all cosmetic procedures.
The US dominates the global cosmetic market, representing around 45% of worldwide demand in 2025. The Asia-Pacific region is expected to see significant growth, with a projected 7% annual increase in cosmetic procedures. This shift reflects changing social norms and growing acceptance of aesthetic medicine.
