Jesuits Hand Over Manresa House in Gozo After 72 Years of Service

The Society of Jesus, also known as the Jesuits, will be handing over the management of Manresa Retreat House in Victoria, Gozo, to the Diocese of Gozo after 72 years of dedicated service. This transfer, set to take place in mid-November 2025, marks the end of an era for the Jesuits, who have been running the retreat house since 1953. The Diocese of Gozo has expressed its profound gratitude to the Jesuits for their pastoral care and administration of the retreat house, which has served as a source of spiritual inspiration for countless individuals.

The Diocese has assured that Manresa Retreat House will continue to fulfill its mission as a place of spiritual renewal, retreat, and warm hospitality. Bookings will continue to be accepted through the house’s contact details or the Bishop’s Curia.
