The Collegiate Parish Church of St Paul’s Shipwreck in Valletta, Malta, is set to host the Easter Triduum celebrations, a significant event in the Catholic calendar. This historic church, dating back to the 1570s, is one of Valletta’s oldest and most revered churches, dedicated to the shipwreck of Saint Paul, considered the spiritual father of the Maltese nation.

The church, designed by Girolamo Cassar, boasts an impressive collection of artistic treasures, including works by Matteo Perez d’Aleccio, Attilio Palombi, and Giuseppe Calì. The wooden titular statue of St Paul, carved by Melchiorre Cafà in 1659, is a highlight of the church’s interior. The Easter Triduum celebrations promise to be a moving experience, reflecting the church’s rich history and spiritual significance.
