August 2025 – At least 73 Palestinians have been killed in Israeli attacks across Gaza since dawn, according to Gaza’s Government Media Office. Authorities say Israel continues to block the entry of more than 430 food items, including frozen meat, fish, dairy, and vegetables.

Two more people — a six-year-old boy and a 30-year-old man — have died from malnutrition, bringing the total number of such deaths since the war began to 227, Gaza’s Health Ministry reports.

A Hamas delegation has arrived in Egypt for ceasefire talks, as Israel advances a phased occupation strategy.

Australia, Canada, Japan, the UK, and 23 European allies have jointly declared that Gaza’s humanitarian crisis has reached “unimaginable levels” and urged Israel to allow more aid. Germany and Hungary did not sign the statement.

Meanwhile, Israeli media report that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will be required to testify three times a week in his corruption trial starting in November.
