Manchester City’s Phil Foden is set to play against Bodo/Glimt in the Champions League despite suffering a broken hand. Foden, who was substituted at halftime in City’s 2-0 loss to Manchester United on Saturday, will wear protective gear to play through the pain. Manager Pep Guardiola confirmed Foden’s availability, stating, “He has broken his bones, but he has protection and is fine for tomorrow”.

Foden’s participation is crucial for City, who aim to secure a top-eight finish and qualify for the round of 16. The team has been facing a tough schedule, with several key players injured, including Josko Gvardiol, Ruben Dias, and John Stones.
