Għajnsielem Takes Top Spot in GFA Division One with Convincing Victory

Għajnsielem FC has surged to the top of the GFA BOV Gozo Football League 1st Division standings following a commanding 2-0 win over Xagħra United FC at the Gozo Stadium. Tom Tom, aka Ewerton Jose Spirandelli Costa, was the hero of the match, scoring a brace to secure the three points for Għajnsielem. He opened the scoring in the 24th minute, and despite Xagħra’s post-break pressure, Għajnsielem held firm and doubled their lead from the penalty spot in the 57th minute, courtesy of Tom Tom’s second goal.
