Barcelona marked their long-awaited return to the rebuilt Camp Nou stadium with a thrilling 4-0 win over Athletic Bilbao. The match was a testament to the team’s strength and skill, with Ferran Torres scoring a brace and Robert Lewandowski opening the scoring in the fourth minute. Lamine Yamal’s exceptional playmaking abilities were on full display, setting up two of Torres’ goals and showcasing his talent.

The atmosphere at the stadium was electric, with over 45,000 fans packed into the partially reopened Camp Nou, celebrating the team’s return home after more than two years of renovation. Lewandowski praised the team’s performance, saying, “Coming back to the Camp Nou is a special day. We’re very happy and pleased. For returning with a win. We played very well.”

Barcelona’s dominance was evident throughout the match, with Athletic Bilbao struggling to keep up. Oihan Sancet’s red card in the 53rd minute further tilted the game in Barcelona’s favor. The win puts Barcelona joint-top of La Liga, level with Real Madrid.
