Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has encouraged Ethan Nwaneri to seize the opportunity to join Marseille on loan, saying the 18-year-old needs to “swim with sharks” to develop his skills. Nwaneri, who struggled for minutes at Arsenal this season, will join Marseille until the end of the season, where he’ll work with manager Roberto De Zerbi, known for nurturing young talent. Arteta believes this move will provide Nwaneri with the regular playing time he needs, citing William Saliba’s successful loan is crucial for his development. “At the end, you have to be thrown to the sharks in an incredible football atmosphere, and it’s going to make him so good,” Arteta said.
