The war raged on across multiple fronts on Tuesday.
In Russia, a massive drone assault—the largest on Moscow since the full-scale invasion of Ukraine—resulted in the deaths of three men in the Moscow region. Eighteen others, including three children, sustained injuries, according to Russian health officials. The Russian defense ministry reported that a staggering 337 drones had been intercepted across the country, with 91 of them brought down over the Moscow area.
Meanwhile, Ukraine faced its own wave of aerial attacks. Russian drones targeted Kyiv and several other regions, prompting Ukrainian air defense to respond. Ukraine’s air force claimed to have neutralized 79 out of 126 incoming Russian drones, along with an Iskander-M ballistic missile. At the time of reporting, the extent of casualties from these strikes remained uncertain.
