Sansone was an LGBTQ activist who had a huge part in the community’s upliftment and had worked for their rights in Malta.
She has been updating her followers about her condition through social media. On Wednesday she shared an update and added that it will be her last video. She started sharing updates about her cancer battle earlier this year and used her platform to raise awareness on cancer and diagnosis. Her videos were full of positivity and hope. Sansone encouraged her followers to live life, love and smile, even when she was at the end of her life.

“Thank you all so much for everything,” she stated. “I will speak to you all on the other side,” added Nicky in her last video. She ended the video by reminding her followers to live life, love, and smile.
Sue Carana took to her facebook on thursday to announce Sansone’s death.
“Fly high my Xmickeroo” wrote Carana on her facebook post.
Rest in peace Nicky.
