Pink October Mov Malta  by Marigold Foundation commemorates World Cancer Week at Centre of Care conference organized by the National Cancer Platform held under the patronage of the President of Malta. It focuses on creating cancer awareness in Malta and promoting self-check practices. The initiative plays a vital role in empowering individuals with knowledge and fostering a nationwide commitment to reducing cancer risks. Marigold foundation has been forerunners of cancer awareness and other campaigns since its inception in 2014.
President Myriam Spiteri Debono addressed the conference. Her Excellency gave a message of hope during the conference, which was hosted at the Verdala Palace. She emphasized the advancements in cancer treatment and cure technology. The President concluded by saying that it is time to reevaluate the national Cancer Platform’s work to make sure it is fulfilling its primary mission and using its role to the fullest extent feasible for the benefit of patients and their families. Additionally, the President urged greater collaboration and teamwork among all those involved in this field.
Chairperson of Marigold, Mrs. Michelle Muscat was in attendance. By participating in the National Cancer Platform Conference, PNKOCT continues to drive forward its mission of education, prevention, and advocacy.
