The MIDI consortium has announced the full redemption of its €50 million bond, marking the completion of a key financial obligation tied to one of the country’s largest mixed-use development projects.

Officials said the repayment was made on schedule and reflects the consortium’s strengthened financial position following years of phased construction and commercial activity at the site. The bond, which was originally issued to help fund infrastructure and building works, attracted both institutional and retail investors when it was launched.

With the redemption now complete, MIDI said it can focus further resources on ongoing development phases, tenant support, and long-term sustainability initiatives across the area. Company representatives described the milestone as a vote of confidence from the market and as proof that the project continues to deliver both economic and community value.

Analysts noted that meeting the full €50 million repayment without refinancing signals stability at a time when construction costs and interest rates have put pressure on many large-scale developments. The consortium added that it remains committed to delivering the remaining parts of the masterplan while maintaining strong governance and financial discipline.

The completion of the bond repayment was welcomed by stakeholders, who said it reinforces confidence in the project’s future and in the wider property and investment sector.
