As part of the ongoing road works in Marsalforn, significant efforts are being made to minimize the environmental impact of the project. A total of 357 trees will be retained in their current locations, while an additional 107 trees will be carefully transplanted to new areas. This approach reflects a commitment to preserving the natural beauty and ecological balance of the region.

The decision to retain and transplant trees is a crucial aspect of the project’s environmental strategy. By preserving as many trees as possible, the project aims to maintain the area’s biodiversity and aesthetic appeal. The transplantation process will be carried out with care to ensure the trees’ survival and continued health in their new locations.

The road works are designed to improve infrastructure and enhance connectivity in the area. By incorporating environmentally friendly practices, such as tree retention and transplantation, the project demonstrates a balance between development and environmental stewardship.
