The Academy of Givers recently held its Annual General Meeting (AGM) for 2025, marking a significant milestone in the organization’s journey to promote philanthropy and corporate responsibility in Malta. The event showcased the Academy’s achievements and progress over the past year, highlighting its commitment to creating a community of like-minded individuals and businesses that strive to make a positive impact.

During the AGM, the Academy of Givers elected a new Board of Administrators, paving the way for fresh perspectives and ideas to drive the organization’s mission forward. This development comes on the heels of a successful year, marked by notable events such as the 4th edition of the Annual Conference, where industry experts discussed purpose-driven business strategies and the importance of collective action in driving meaningful change.

One of the Academy’s flagship initiatives is the For Impact Event and Fair, which brings together businesses, NGOs, and impact-driven professionals to explore ways to create lasting social and environmental impact. The event features panel discussions, workshops, and an Impact Fair, showcasing the work of various NGOs and social initiatives. The Academy also launched its second Giving Report, providing insights into corporate giving trends and strategies for effective philanthropy.

Through its work, the Academy of Givers aims to inspire businesses to become forces for good, providing a platform for leaders to share best practices, learn from each other, and get recognized for their impact. With its growing membership and influence, the organization is poised to make a lasting difference in Malta’s philanthropic and corporate responsibility landscape.
