Former Kraftwerk drummer Wolfgang Flür is set to perform in Malta, bringing his unique blend of electronic music and storytelling to the island nation. Flür, who played percussion with Kraftwerk from 1973 to 1987, will be performing with his Musik-Soldat project at Liquid Club Malta in San Gwann on October 10, 2025. The event is part of the Circuits Programme and is supported by Arts Council Malta, the German Maltese Circle, and Black Box Pro.
Flür’s performance will feature a mix of music, storytelling, and breathwork, showcasing his eclectic style. He will be joined by special guest Peter Duggal, an electronic music artist from the UK who has performed at various festivals and venues across Europe. The local lineup includes RAIM, Duo Blank, and Faddy, ensuring a diverse and captivating musical experience.
As a pioneer of electronic music, Flür’s legacy extends beyond his work with Kraftwerk. He has collaborated with various artists, including U96, Anni Hogan, and Newmen, and has released several solo albums, such as “Eloquence” in 2015 and “Magazine 1” in 2022. His upcoming album, “Times,” set to release in March 2025, features collaborations with notable artists like Boris Blank of Yello and Juan Atkins.
