However, one of their shows was recently disrupted by fireworks, forcing the singer to stop playing their iconic song “Living Next Door to Alice.” This song, which peaked at No. 3 on the UK Singles Chart and reached No. 1 on the Australian singles chart, is one of the band’s most popular hits.
The band, known for their pop-rock and soft-rock sound, has been entertaining audiences since 1964. With a history spanning over five decades, Smokie has undergone several lineup changes, with the current lineup featuring Martin Bullard, Steve Pinnell, Mick McConnell, Pete Lincoln, and Luke Bullard.
