Former World’s Strongest Man winner Eddie Hall is gearing up to host the Battle of the Beasts, a strongman competition series set to kick off in Malta this October. Although there’s no direct quote from Eddie Hall expressing his pleasure about being back in Malta, the event is currently in pre-production, and Hall will be at the helm, guiding ten of the world’s strongest men through a series of physically demanding challenges.
The competition, produced by Camelot Films, will feature notable contestants, including current World’s Strongest Man Rayno Nel and three-time World’s Strongest Man Tom Stoltman. The challenges are designed to test the contestants’ strength, endurance, resilience, agility, pain tolerance, and combat skills, with events like sumo wrestling, belly flop challenges, and an eating competition.
The Battle of the Beasts will be held in various locations across Malta, including Fort Ricasoli and Mellieħa Bay. With Duelbits, an online sports betting and crypto casino, and Visit Malta backing the event as main sponsors, it’s shaping up to be an exciting spectacle. Director Roel Reiné, known for his work on the Halo series, will oversee the production.
