Id-Dar tal-Providenza, a home dedicated to providing care and support to persons with disability, is set to celebrate its 60th anniversary with a special concert. This milestone marks six decades of tireless work in promoting dignity, respect, and inclusion for individuals with disabilities. The concert, held at the Co-Cathedral in Valletta, Malta, features performances by the Band of the Armed Forces of Malta, soprano Rosabelle Bianchi, tenor Musician Gunner Zammit Georg, and the Bel Canto and De La Salle College choirs.
The event is not only a celebration of Id-Dar tal-Providenza’s achievements but also a recognition of the importance of inclusive democracy, where every citizen feels welcomed and valued. The concert’s theme, “Respect, Rights and Dignity,” reflects the core values of Id-Dar tal-Providenza and serves as a reminder of the ongoing need to promote awareness and support for persons with disabilities. By coming together to celebrate this milestone, the community is reaffirming its commitment to creating a more inclusive and compassionate society.
