Police Reports That are Not Urgent can be Submitted on the Internet

Police reports can now be filed from the comfort of one’s home through a new online service operated by the newly opened Remote Reporting Unit (RRU). The Remote Reporting Unit, which was recently opened, now offers an online reporting service that allows one to file a report from home.

Complaints will be taken through online platforms

The police also said one could communicate with a police officer via Whatsapp or Google Meet. They can also use FaceTime, Teams and FaceTime to contact them. A copy of the reported incident is sent to the official via email. The report will be registered on the police database.
