Maltese Sculptor Achieves International Recognition with 7th Place Finish

Maltese sculptor Andreas Paul Muscat has earned a prestigious spot in the Portrait Society of America’s Non-Commissioned Portrait Competition, securing 7th place among over 1,000 entries from around the world. His selected work, “Athena,” is a hydro resin sculpture with a patina finish, showcasing his fascination with mythology. Muscat, who has been sculpting for just one and a half years, expressed his gratitude and pride in being part of the Portrait Society of America. Currently furthering his studies at the Florence Academy of Arts, Muscat’s achievement is a significant milestone in his artistic journey.
