Total money market fund assets decreased by $53.01 billion to $7.80 trillion for the week ended March 25, 2026, according to the Investment Company Institute. Government money market funds saw a decline of $58.25 billion, while prime money market funds increased by $4.27 billion. Tax-exempt money market funds rose by $968 million. Institutional money market funds decreased by $59.42 billion to $4.69 trillion, whereas retail money market funds increased by $6.41 billion to $3.11 trillion.
