The Nationalist Party (PN) is set to release its plans for a modern mass transport system in Malta “in the coming days,” according to party leader Alex Borg. This move aims to tackle the island’s severe traffic congestion, which is projected to cost the economy a staggering €917 million by 2030. Borg made this pledge at the party’s national convention, committing to launch the system within the first 100 days of a future PN government. The goal is to improve the overall quality of life for citizens and address the pressing issue of traffic congestion.
