The Inquisitor’s Palace, a historic gem in Birgu, Malta, is undergoing a transformation with the contemporary art project “Moving with the Wind, Like Waves”. Curated by Elyse Tonna and commissioned by the BOV Foundation, this innovative project brings together nine talented artists to reimagine the palace’s complex history and architecture. Through a range of mediums, including installation, sound, sculpture, film, drawing, and painting, the artists explore themes of memory, gesture, ecology, ritual, inscription, and care, offering a fresh perspective on this iconic site.
