Several choirs have recently embarked on tours to Belgium, captivating audiences with their harmonious performances. The Rose Hill School Choir, led by Director of Music Elisa Harrod, was one such group that left a lasting impression on Belgian audiences during their half-term tour. Their repertoire was well-received by large and appreciative crowds, creating an extraordinary experience for both performers and listeners.

Similarly, the Godwine Choir completed a well-received tour of Belgium, performing English pastoral repertoire from the 19th and 20th centuries in iconic venues such as Brussels Cathedral and St. Bavo’s Cathedral. The choir’s performances drew audiences numbering in the hundreds, showcasing their talent and musical prowess. After their performances, the singers even enjoyed sampling Belgian beer on the picturesque canals of Bruges.

Other notable choir tours to Belgium include the University of Liverpool Chamber Choir, which undertook a successful concert tour, and the John Fisher School Choir, which traveled to Belgium in April. These tours not only showcased the choirs’ musical abilities but also provided a unique cultural exchange experience, allowing them to connect with Belgian audiences and appreciate the country’s rich history and heritage.
