An amount of €1 million is being put into the recently-launched Screen Support Scheme, which will be administered through Malta Arts Council. Malta Arts Council.
The plan, announced by the Minister of Arts Owen Bonnici, will extend assistance for the Maltese native film industry. It was the outcome of an open dialogue with people who are involved, said the government.
The deadline for applications is September 24, and results will be revealed on November 21 or 22.
