Koyo Kouoh, a renowned Cameroonian curator, has made history by becoming the first African woman to lead the prestigious Venice Biennale. At 57 years old, Kouoh brings a wealth of experience to her new role, having headed the Zeitz Museum of Contemporary Art Africa in Cape Town since 2019.
